i know i am sooooo late doing this post...my excuse is...i am Marci. anyways, here is the little 8 year old on her actual BIRTHday. she got to go to classic skating and we had a little family party. her birthday outfit that she picked out, she has become very picky as of late.

all the gifts that she was given. she is very into doing crafts now, which end up all over the freaking house. BUT I LOVE IT!

her baptism day OUTFIT. she and her grandma metcalf went out shopping all night a few days before and her grandmother spoiled her with this outfit for her baptism/birthday.

i suppose someone could find this moment to be corny but, i found it to be TOUCHING. i have luckily never had to go through something like this but, i do have friends who have had their trials conceiving. to them i say I LOVE YOU.

haunting me

i am now starting to have nightmares with/about snow. nightmares. i want you to think of one of your bad dreams and then literally add lots of snow to story. this is the snow hell i am living in. it is so bad that my subconscious is saying "GET US OUTTA HERE". just another point to add to list of "things i need to speak with a therapist about". i can see it now

we bought a box of mango's at Costco. i now enjoy a bowl of this luscious goodness for dessert every night. my kids have also developed a sweet tooth for it too. tessa sits next to me and tells me how delissus it is! AND OH IT IS SO VERY DELISSUS. kylee turns 8 tomorrow. she is going to have a MAKEOVER MAKEUP PARTY. now i just need to go find a bunch of cheap makeup.

It snowed. Utah is stupid. It just makes everything feel so wrong. That's all I feel like saying today. Boo.

It is April first (just a friendly FYI)

Tessa has decided she no longer needs naps. She is three and a something, therefore she is now allowed to jump all over her mother during the time of napdom. During this transition, I am left with a shorter fuse and the extreme urge to yell STOP IT and SHUT UP. I know it is APRIL FOOLS DAY but, I am left without the will to care to come up with anything. Lucky you. NO JOKE FOR YOU. The stupid mother effing joke is on me. And for the cherry on top, she is going through the same sleep issues brenton did at this age. SUPER! All of you mothers out there who have these great, happy, wonderful, sleeping three year old angels CAN SUCK IT! what? I am totally happy today.
