i was really going to avoid the whole Valentine's Day thing but, then i thought, why not address this now. i am sure that most of you have been watching some movie and a kiss/romantic scene comes on and you think "this is it. this is the best kiss scene ever". for my mom, it is the movie witness when they are dancing. for my sister nicole, she would be to embarrassed to say. although i would venture to say that it is most likely a soap opera montage or something along the lines of vampire diaries. for molly, it would be some massive fight that broke out in a hockey game and they all come out with bloody mouths. my point is, most everyone has had this moment. share them with me. i would LOVE to know what your favorite kiss scene is (the only rule is, it can't be mine. you cannot take this away from me). because, guess what? i finally found mine. in all of my movie viewing years (and i have seen A. Brenton has to have a crown put on today. now remember, this is my anxious baby, major dental work = anxious. we have changed over to a pediatric dentist cause we are with the CHIP dental health plan. all i have are wonderful words for them (the dentistry and the insurance). Walter doesn't like the fact that our kids are on aid from the government (sadly, i think pride can be a hindrance sometimes). i have a completely different viewpoint. when i found out how much this visit would cost us without and then with the insurance, i was dancing around singing "this is great, i can get my kids health taken care of without the ulcer of "how are we going to afford this"). the dentistry even provides the extra anxious kids, aka Brenton, with a little cocktail (which would have cost $50 but with CHIP it is only $10) to take before the appt. THIS IS GONNA BE INTERESTING! and i also LOVE BEING ASSISTED IN MY CHILDREN'S HEALTH CARE! i can't say it enough!

Well folks, we have another "issue" to add to Brenton's List. DEATH. for some reason, dobby's death brought it out of him. They watched the scene tonight and Brenton lost it. DEATH. PEOPLE DYING. also, i went (for my first time EVER) to BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING. except i would call it thanksgiving night insanity. my brother and sisters (and Brett) met up at Walmart first. this is where i started sweating and having mini panic attacks. then, when everyone started going crazy, i just started laughing. cause i didn't know how else to react. my sister Molly got shoved. Nicole didn't get what she needed. Kyle got yelled at "are you talkin shit about me?!". Molly got shoved again, this time by a cart, when we were unable to move. after this, we went to Supertarget (Nicole pooped out on us), the line was outside and the store didn't open until midnight. luckily, kyle had blankets and i had my ipad. we sat in line watching I AM NUMBER FOUR, with subtitles, cause i don't have mega speakers. i just have to say that shopping at target from 12-2 AM was so much nicer than the 30 minutes we were in Walmart. no shoving. no cursing at us. no people being mean. room to walk. two totally different experiences. but. I GOTS MY STUFF!

you guys i am working on this really deep, meaningful, thanksgiving post. it is taking alot out of me. i mean, alot alot. this is why my posts are going to be sporadic.

OK, i just lied. i am not actually doing that. BUT. i am discovering that my husband and i are just like my parents were around the holidays. which is to say, A JOY TO BE AROUND AND A JOY TO EACH OTHER. there is nothing but, love and singing going on around this here house. in fact, i just made up a list of EVERYTHING (including things i have researched, couponed (this isn't a word but, i just made it one), and figured out where to go to on Thursday night and have previously already bought at a great price) and have given it to husband so that he can see what it is like to buy all this stuff at affordable prices. it's called a learning experiment. or it could be that we had therapy today and i decided to go crazy. either way i think this could be a SUPER DUPER WAY OF LETTING HIM KNOW-YOU KNOW WHAT, BUYING TOYS FOR CHRISTMAS IS HARD AND EXPENSIVE AND MY WIFE IS AWESOME.

we have been sick for around a month now. at one point during the past month, one of us has been sick. once that person starts to get better, another one gets taken down. we have the cold/flu from hell and it scares me. speaking of scary, the three (soon to be four) year old's favorite pastime is going to the halloween stores and seeing all the scary stuff. i have been running around trying to find a hat for walter's halloween costume and she has been loving it. what's funny is when other little kids come into the store and start screaming, tessa comes and when i tell her it's time to go, she starts screaming. tonight walter asked kylee to clean her room and she replied, "you're putting too much pressure on me". SCARY! brenton still thinks the scariest thing in the whole world is throwing up. which no one has done. but he is still worried about it. but is hasn't happened in quite awhile. but there is still a possibility. YES BRENTON EVERYONE COULD THROW UP RIGHT NOW AT THE SAME TIME! i don't actually say that to him. i just think it in my head and smile and give him a hug. the thing with this cold/flu contagion is that it can come around for a second round. sometimes life can just be sucky.

So, I decided to blow everything off until my family returns. They went to NM to visit walter's sister and her family. My vacation is one of peace and quiet, except for the movie night with Molly. you see this happy go lucky dog here? doesn't she look so happy to be at home with her family? does she look like she is in any pain at all? would you suspect anything to have happened to this nice, loving, never ever snapped at anyone dog to be injured.

yesterday morning my kids came running into my bathroom to show me this. i promptly freaked out, along with my kids, and took her to the vet. come to find out, a few weeks ago, while she was out with the husband, a bulldog bit her. she didn't cry, whine, nothing, so i guess my husband thought she was fine. OH NO, SHE LICKED AT THAT SORE UNTIL HER HAIR WAS GONE! she is now on antibiotics and i now have a bulldog sized chip on my shoulder.

I have received my computer back. I practically killed it. My brother told me it was one of the worst viruses he has seen. You must be wondering what horrific thing I was doing to bring upon the death virus. I was looking up...SHRINKY DINK PATTERNS! I had bought the special paper and just needed the patterns to print on them. And by the way...IT CAN ALSO PUT YOU TO A PORN SITE! my 8 year old was with me and I had to hurry up and get her to go get me something, ANYTHING THAT WASN'T IN THE VICINITY OF THE COMPUTER. so, my brother had to wipe it clean and cleared off my desktop. I am just now trying to figure out how to upload new pictures from my camera.
