10 on the 10th

i learned about this idea at this cute little blog and decided to try it for myself. it actually takes quite a bit of rememberin' on my part to take the picture. the idea is that on the 10th day of the month (which happened to be on friday) you take 10 pictures. one for every hour from whenever you decide to start. so below follows how our day went on Friday. just a little FYI it is spring break for my kids right now so we have been trying to do something on the days they have been home. on thursday we went to the aquarium, that was nice, the only problem is my kids have been to Sea World a bunch!

9 am-wake up, lay on the couch, watch some tv, eat some breakfast10 am-mommy time, i get to exercise while kids run wild
11 am-check outside and see the kids running around the neighborhood with friends picking up trash...what good kids i have!!

12 pm-lunchtime, peanut butter sandwiches with banana's too.
1pm-naptime GLORIOUS naptime

2pm-work on blog and other crafty things i do
3pm-on this day we took the kids to the U of U museum of natural history.

4pm-brenton takes a pic of me and nic with the two babies

5pm-very end of the museum, the dinosaur dig

6pm-come home and do the finishing touches on the girls skirts for them to wear tomorrow

and today, monday, we are going to the zoo. the sun has cooperated with us and the kids are so happy!

new shoes for the summer

Since i found out about the crocs outlet in Park City, i decided to get on down there and find some for my kids. They are all they wear in the summer and Tessa loves to walk around the house in Kylee's old crocs...LOVES IT!!

Come to find out the kids crocs were only $10. What a great deal and they each got to pick out whatever pair they wanted...

6 on the 6th part II

i made it. i survived. i have accomlished another birthday party. what is it about kids birthday parties that just really take it all out of you? we had it at classice fun center, where ten little girls had us changing their skates on and off over and over again. the exception was Brady, who skooted the whole time. Brenton, who i did not see the entire two and a half hours, talked dad into renting him rollerblades (this is why he is in no pics, seriously the kid was rollerblading the entire time). and Kylee who got new rollerblades for her birthday. Overall it turned out to be a wonderful party, fun was had by all, and kylee was happy!!

kylee requested a banana split cake. basically, i just made a yellow cake and put layer of banana's and banana cream pudding. then when you scoop it out you layer it with whip cream and sprinkles...i didn't bother with the chocolate topping (too lazy by that point). i have never had a birthday cake eaten by all and eaten soooo fast. Molly i think you are gonna want this for your birthday!

brown no more and birthdays galore

after 5 months of being brown i have gone back to my "roots" of being a blonde. honestly, i like the change for the summer and "spring" months ahead of me.

here is a photo depicting how i feel about the stress of this weather and having a BUNCH of birthdays to deal with this weekend. Brenton has a birthday to attend today, tomorrow, and Kylee has her big birthday blowout on Monday. Needless to say, i am a busy busy girl getting everything ready for a 6 year old birthday party. speaking of which, i have to leave now to go pick up B man from his party...TTFN!!

it was a girlie night

well i am hoping that i got some of you yesterday with my april fools joke. NO I AM NOT PREGNANT, NOT EVEN A LITTLE!!! come on, you know that for a second you thought "what, marci is pregnant????".

here are some photos from friday night when my sister molly and i had a girls night with Tessa and Kylee. Walter had taken Brenton out for the father/son activity. notice how cute and dressed up molly is. she was very angry with me for not bringing my camera to dinner to take pics. she got all dressed up just for this so i could post it...me, on the other hand, didn't do a darn thing to make myself look nice.

we went out to dinner to this delicious little italian cafe that i knew molly would love. ky loved the salad and everyone devoured some gellato.

we then made some orange blossom cookies which i think are divine.

then molly watched HSM 3 with kylee and tessa.

i am pissy, this is funny

i am still pissy today and this keeps making me laugh no matter how many times i keep watching it. tessa walks around the house singing "o o o o o o (you know what part i am talking about)". hope this makes you laugh on a pissy day too.

IT is neverending

IT just keeps coming...and coming...and coming. and just when you think that IT is going to stop and be done...IT comes again. IT is now giving me headaches and heartaches and sadness galore. i keep saying to my husband that IT and i do not get along and every year our fights are getting worse and worse. the IT and i cannot survive with eachother, i do not understand the IT and IT does not understand me. if IT did understand me IT would have left me alone now!

friday funkiness

this is what happens when daddy is gone for the night...

tastes sooooo delightful with milk and a little bit of sugar on top. i actually found some good strawberries the other day at walmart (big shocker for me, i HATE their produce). so naturally my kids wanted strawberries and milk for their nightime snack. so yummy in their tummies...
