5. it's amazing what 3 guys standing around your new hairdo, saying over and over how amazing and great the super short hair looks on me (one of them being the creative director/owner of the salon) can do WONDERS FOR A GIRL!

is what my husband keeps saying to me. but, FIRST it was, "HOLY BOY HAIRCUT IN THE BACK!" and "YOU LOOK LIKE A BOY FROM BEHIND" then came "HELLO, MARCI'S BROTHER". to which i replied...

"wouldn't that make me KYLE??"

i think Logan did a Fabulous job. it is crazy how much goes into a haircut like this. i know you can't see the back, maybe i will have the husband take a picture from behind. now i just have to get my roots done (what hair i have left to color...she should charge me half now) and then some bikini waxage and i am ready to go!

MY MOM CALLS IT "THE HAIRCUT"

AS IN, "MARCI I FOUND PICTURES FOR THE HAIRCUT."

SHE FORGETS THAT IT IS MY HAIRCUT...not hers. she is funny like that.

SHE IS ALSO SAD THAT HER NAME ISN'T IN THE LIST ON THE SIDE OF MY BLOG THAT CONNECTS YOU TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. she doesn't have a blog to connect you to.

SHE IS COMING OVER TODAY TO WATCH MY KIDS WHILE I GET MY HAIR CUT AND MY KIDS ARE SO HAPPY THAT GRANDMA WILL BE HERE WHEN THEY GET HOME FROM SCHOOL and not mommy.

I NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT PARKS WE ARE GOING TO VISIT WHILE IN ORLANDO AND HOW MUCH IT IS GOING TO COST. luckily airfare and condo are already taken care of.

IF ANYONE KNOWS WHICH PARKS MY KIDS WILL ENJOY THE MOST I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR ADVICE.

where did my hair go?

this is her first ever haircut, which means, she has had baby hair attached to her head for 2 YEARS!

b-man was getting his haircut at the same time. yes, he is playing a video game while having his hair done. i do this because i don't think he plays enough video games at home...i need to expose him just a little bit more!

Tessa got to watch a mickey mouse clubhouse DVD and did really good while they were cutting her hair until...

they pulled out the scary, big, mean, loud, menacing...BLOW DRYER. HOW DARE THEY!

my mother has NOT A ONE LEFT

my mother has always prided herself on her childrens hair. the long, luxurious, blonde, curly locks of her perfectly coifed three little girls. i refer to her as the hair nazi (sorry mom, but you kinda are). all three of her daughters and one grand-daughter have rebeled against the hair nazi and have chopped off their long manes. i am the last one to do so...

i am too lazy to screw with my camera and figure out how to turn off the flash. but, doesn't it give me such a wonderful glow...
my hair was done by Logan (who has hair i wish my son had). i heard about him through sabrena (thanks yo, i would totally recommend him too. what a cutie.)! he actually taught me how to blow dry my hair and style it TWO DIFFERENT WAYS. i have never had someone do that for me before. kylee came along to support me and watch her mama's locks get chopped away. it feels OH SO GOOD to have a change.

and finally my "you mess with MY KIDS you mess WITH ME" face!!

ps. tessa wouldn't come near me for the first ten minutes of mama coming home with a whole new hairdo.

it's walter's birthday tomorrow and i think he is PMSing. yeah.

brenton's 8th birthday/sytycd disappointment

this is a BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY OLDEST CHILD!!

he is now EIGHT YEARS OLD!!

he had his party at CLASSIC FUN CENTER where there is SKATING AND SWIMMING!!tessa came down with a FEVER right at the beginning of the party and walter had to take her home for the rest of the night...total bummer!!

his cake is a SNAKE not an "S"!

do not ask me when he is getting baptized because i do not have a an answer for that yet. i do not understand the rush to make it happen right after they turn 8 anyways? so everyone leave me alone about it, i have my own personal reasons for this!!

and now i will discuss SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. i am never happy with the ending of this show yet i still continue to watch. my favorite dancer NEVER wins. i wanted ADE, he got kicked off. so for the finale i wanted BRANDON, did he win...NO. i am so disappointed and angry, this show makes me soooooo angry! there you have it...

and i am getting my hair cut to look like this. i need to make a drastic change for some reason and the only thing mormons can do drastically is change their hair...so that is what i am going to do (my sister understands me, sorry mom)

the hairstylist said that she had the most perfect hair for this haircut. just look at how perfect it is...super thick with just the right amount of curl to it. i am so jealous!!

okay, so i know that atleast 21 of you check out my blog. RIGHT ON!! on friday night i took my children to go have their pictures done at kiddie kandids (before the BIG HAIRCUT). let me just say these three things about that night 1. kylee is pro-could become a model and love it 2. brenton is entering the i am too cool/too old/too whatever 3. tessa does not like having her picture taken. now that i have said that, i give to you the great summer haircut for brenton...

and the haircut that he chose was the fauxhawk, which ended up coming in a close second. as we were leaving to get his haircut walt was still trying to talk him into shaving it all off. what is funny is that he had originally wanted the mohawk and then ended up going with this. and those of you who know me, i love me some rebellion but a fauxhawk suits him JUST FINE. don't ya think??

ps my niece saylee turned 2 on sunday, she gets her own post tomorrow...
