oh yes, this post has nothing to do with memorial day. MY DAUGHTER GOT SMACKED IN THE MOUTH WITH A GOLF BALL!
on wednesday i got to take brenton and kylee to california adventure and ride ALL the rides. walter stayed at the condo and went swimming with tessa.
we finally talked brenton into going on kylee's still to this day favorite ride, the TOWER OF TERROR. seriously, ky and i went on this ride like 4 or 5 times. brenton went once and...that was enough. i could tell by the look on his face when we saw daylight and then dropped.
our mr autograph book got to meet a ton of characters this day.
he waited in this character line while ky and i went on the big roller coaster ride. after tower of terror he wasn't interested in the big fast rides. but, BUT, his favorite ride was soaring over california.
waiting for the Colors of something show to start. i got kicked out of my first spot by a worker saying "people aren't allowed to stand here". so then i moved to another area where i was told "people aren't allowed to stand here they are allowed to stand here (pointing to where i had been standing in the first place and where "new" people had started gathering). WTF Disneyland? you really started to piss me off. just saying get your sh*t together. i would say "i am never going there again" but we all know that IS NOT TRUE AT ALL!

while daddy was on "line duty", i was on carousel ride duty
the longest line EVEEERRRR, waiting to meet the princesses.
this was the line where "mommy got mad". so, there were people in line with strollers, i thought, hey great we can let Tessa sit in the stroller for this hour long line. here is how it went down.
workerman: you can't have a stroller in the line
me: but all of these people (me pointing to the other people with strollers in the line) have them
workerman: yes, but their child is asleep in the stroller
me: that is what i am trying to do
workerman: well she isn't asleep so you have to take the stroller out of the line
me: FINE
ten minutes later
me: THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE GETTING IN LINE WITH STROLLERS WITH CHILDREN THAT ARE AWAKE!
otherwise...GOOD TIMES
seeing as i just got back from our tour de Disneyland, this is gonna be a quickie...teehee.
even though this girl was suffering from slight dehydration (warm forehead and headache) she was still all smiles. for those of you who think we were neglecting her fluid intake, we weren't, her body just had to adjust from extreme snow to extreme warmth.
Brenton got that hat on the first day, within the first hour, and it never left his head from that point on. really. look at all my vacation pictures.
what can i say about her. she climbs alot of fences and got into Disney's well groomed gardens.

Brenton took pleasure in the fact that he could ride by himself on anything.
oh, and he also got a autograph book. guess who he made ask the princesses for their autographs?
you just don't know it yet. this week, every day, you will realize there is a hole. that hole used to be filled by my witty, whimsical, nonsensical opinion of life.
