the pictures really are self explanatory. tessa loves to roll around in the sand like a pig would in the mud. kylee loves to run in the ocean and then run back to the sand. brenton NEEDS a body board, he could spend all day in the ocean.

here is the final video from fantasmic. another one for my brady to enjoy and anyone else who loves all things related to disney and disneyland. we finally made it to st george and the drive was blech!! why does it seem that driving home always takes longer than driving there???

fantasmic was fantastic

fantasmic was tons of fun to watch. the second day we came we set out our blanket early and had front row seats. when it was over my kids wanted more. even tessa was drawn into its magic. again, these videos are dedicated to my little nephew brady...we wish you could be there with us buddy. the one with the kids talking is dark but you get the gist of it.

i have one more video of fantasia that i cannot get to upload...i tried allllll night long molly and the rest of my family who was waiting. i could not get stinkin you tube to work for me. but, enjoy the two that i did get up. love, the rufs

my kids are lovin the sand. and we still can't get all the sand out of tessa.

so here we are in california and life is pretty easy going. we went to the beach today and upon returning i sent them straight away to the swimming pool. when my husband asked why? i replied...it's what you do after the beach duh...let the pool clean off all the sand. what can i say, it is what i was taught to do.
so we had planned to leave slc at 3am but, walt ended up setting the alarm wrong and we didn't get out of slc until 5am. at around 8-8:30 kids started waking up and tessa was having some issues. then...she threw up, granted it was only a little bit since she had no food in her stomach. here's the funny part of it though. brenton pulls up his pillow to block his view of the baby and looks out the window and then he promptly starts yelling at me...WHY DIDN'T YOU GIVE HER ANY DRAMIMINE??? i still think about this and laugh out loud. anyways it turns out both of our girls get motion sickness but, luckily a little dramamine helps out.
we made it into out hotel at like 6 or 7 that night. it made for a very very long day on the road. there was a major traffic jam where they check cars for fruit...2 hours of bumper to bumper in the middle of death valley=soooooo booooorrrriiiinnnngg. otherwise i think we would have made it here sooner.
TOMORROW IS DISNEYLAND...HOORAY!!!!

i rented the wii game UP while i rented some movies for me to watch during the strep in bed moments. brenton has been playing alot of it since the weather does not want to cooperate with summertime/schools out. alas, it looks like today might be...ok. so i am now making my ME appts to get ready to go to SO CALI. i am getting my hair done tomorrow (HELLO BLONDIE). and now i have to go and call and make an appt to do...

i have been trying to be happy on this blog.

i hate cold fronts and there is one right now that will not go away from Utah.

seriously i can't remember the last day i saw warm and hot sunlight.

the kids are out of school and i want them to play outside but...

tessa refuses to take naps anymore, or if she does it takes a year to get her down.

i have a headache.

our California getaway is not turning out to be what i thought it was going to be.
