now i think i have caught some sort of a bug

it hit me in the middle of dillard's while shopping with my mom and sister

so i am sending you here to watch something really amazing

i now know what my family is going to be for halloween this year...

she came down with a fever at the beginning of brenton's birthday party

so daddy took her home and sat with her until the party was over

he missed the whole thing

she is now very whiny today and still feverish

i can't find my camera...crap

i am leaving to see a movie at 4 when daddy gets home and can hold the sick baby

tessa won't take a nap

i keep crying that my dad isn't here for the party

Harpers Island

i will miss you terribly

you were my one and only horror/drama/suspense/thriller/and sometimes funny show that i absolutely ADORED!!

I now give you my two FAVORITE CHARACTERS DEATH SCENE. it is of cal and chloe (for those of you who loved the show as i did you will know who i am talking about). i was so sad to see them go and thought that their death scene was the most emotional and (i know i know somewhat gruesome but what chloe did was so loving that it got to me.) hmm i may end up buying the season on dvd.

it all started with...

a gift that we bought for out next door neighbors, who were taking care of Roxy for us while we were gone. they had just had a baby and so we thought we would get them a disneyland baby gift to say thank you.

but, one minnie mouse is not enough to appease an almost two year old

oh what a stuffed animal can do to tessa...yes, we pried it from her chubby, screaming, clutching hands and gave it to the rightful owner.

sewing 101-kidstyle

last friday brenton and kylee took a sewing class at joann's. it was the basic sewing class and they got to make their own pillowcase (and pick out their own material too). here are the results (kylee took the pictures)...

brentons pillowcase, which the teacher said he did very well, is pirate themed of course. i was so surprised at how excited he was about sewing and he now asks me if he can use my sewing machine...i am so proud!!


kylees butterfly themed pillowcase. the teacher told me she was still a little too young (the class is for 8 year olds-she is 6). her fine motor skills aren't quite there yet but, that she was a very bright girl otherwise. so she can try again in a couple of years. the teacher had to help her alot when feeding the material through the machine.

then ky decided to take a picture of her sister...

we are off to see 'arry pottah now, toodle ooo!!

California Closing

our last beach trip was to coronado island beach. the sand there is so smooth and pretty.
