Dobby died

Well folks, we have another "issue" to add to Brenton's List. DEATH. for some reason, dobby's death brought it out of him. They watched the scene tonight and Brenton lost it. DEATH. PEOPLE DYING. I MIGHT DIE. ALL OF IT. I honestly didn't think we were going to have to deal with this until an actual person close to him died. Alas...it was Dobby. This got me thinking, why didn't he become torn apart by Sirius dying? How could that scene have not sent him running out of the theater to the bathroom stall to let out a good cry? Wait. That was me.

For those of you who have no idea who or what I am talking about, what rock do you live under?

post thanksgiving

also, i went (for my first time EVER) to BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING. except i would call it thanksgiving night insanity. my brother and sisters (and Brett) met up at Walmart first. this is where i started sweating and having mini panic attacks. then, when everyone started going crazy, i just started laughing. cause i didn't know how else to react. my sister Molly got shoved. Nicole didn't get what she needed. Kyle got yelled at "are you talkin shit about me?!". Molly got shoved again, this time by a cart, when we were unable to move. after this, we went to Supertarget (Nicole pooped out on us), the line was outside and the store didn't open until midnight. luckily, kyle had blankets and i had my ipad. we sat in line watching I AM NUMBER FOUR, with subtitles, cause i don't have mega speakers. i just have to say that shopping at target from 12-2 AM was so much nicer than the 30 minutes we were in Walmart. no shoving. no cursing at us. no people being mean. room to walk. two totally different experiences. but. I GOTS MY STUFF!

that old christmas magic

 you guys i am working on this really deep, meaningful, thanksgiving post. it is taking alot out of me. i mean, alot alot. this is why my posts are going to be sporadic.

OK, i just lied. i am not actually doing that. BUT. i am discovering that my husband and i are just like my parents were around the holidays. which is to say, A JOY TO BE AROUND AND A JOY TO EACH OTHER. there is nothing but, love and singing going on around this here house. in fact, i just made up a list of EVERYTHING (including things i have researched, couponed (this isn't a word but, i just made it one), and figured out where to go to on Thursday night and have previously already bought at a great price) and have given it to husband so that he can see what it is like to buy all this stuff at affordable prices. it's called a learning experiment. or it could be that we had therapy today and i decided to go crazy. either way i think this could be a SUPER DUPER WAY OF LETTING HIM KNOW-YOU KNOW WHAT, BUYING TOYS FOR CHRISTMAS IS HARD AND EXPENSIVE AND MY WIFE IS AWESOME.

my baby Cate as a cow. i missed out on getting a picture of my baby Emma. she was dressed as the world's cutest pumpkin. i am also glad to say that the cow costume was Brenton's and the pumpkin was Kylee's. i love getting use out of one time only type things. BTW, anyone is allowed to use my wedding dress (it has made its way through three brides).

on Saturday night Kylee got to go on a daddy daughter date. it was a Halloween party. Walt is Abraham Lincoln and Kylee is a vampiress. in the meantime, i took Brenton and Tessa to see puss n boots. good times all around. Tessa actually did really good at the movie (i was worried about her).
