Ok, so I am sure by now you have gathered that I won the annual metcalf and friends Oscar party...AGAIN! I got to flip everyone off and then Lisa said that "you can't win two years in a row!" to which my brother replied, "but I did." thanks for having my back bro. In all honesty though, I didn't care this year around. I was rooting for linzi to win. Then these two problems occured.

1. She didn't vote for toy story three to win

2. " I didn't see christian bale on the list?" when referring to the supporting actor category

Thanks for the entertainment family and friends...but mostly baby cate...she was the coolest sweetheart there.

Brady adores his new little sister. i think he is going to be an awesome older brother, just like his hero Brenton is.
when i put this picture up, Tessa yelled "MY BEST FRIEND SAYLEE!". and in return, when we were visiting yesterday, Saylee got mad at me for telling Tessa that Cate is her new cousin. at first i thought Saylee was mad at me cause Cate is HER sister. nope. she was mad cause Tessa is HER cousin! BEST COUSINS, THEY ARE.

LDS hospital-3:00 AM

so on Wednesday night around 9ish, after Nicole had been told she was only dilated to a 1 and they WERE NOT going to induce her on Sunday, HER WATER BROKE. i think that was Cate giving the DR the FINGER.

part of the delivery team, Molly and I, got to roam the halls of the hospital at ghostly hours. did you think about that Molly? we were roaming those empty halls of a building that has seen alot of death. neenooneenoo. i know...you HATE ME FOR PUTTING UP THIS PICTURE (honestly, i think you look way better than me).

the Grandma trying to figure out how to work scrabble on my ipad. she and Molly worked together and beat the computer. they were very proud of themselves.

oh and i don't like staying up all night. it makes me sick now.

ok, so my internet just up and quite on me but, there are a ton of these video's on youtube. i have watched them and every time i am still horrified.

there is a story

behind these pictures. they don't look like your average "HAPPY VALENTINES DAY" pictures...WE ARE SO HAPPY! i will explain. since the kids were out of school on Monday "Valentines Day", they had their party on Friday. i let them decorate their boxes with their favorite wrapping paper, stickers, and glitter glue. i had planned to take their pictures when they got home from school with their boxes and THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED.
first off, Tessa was STILL super sick. we took her to the instacare AGAIN and they found out she had double ear infections. since she has been on the antibiotics, she is back to her normal out of control self. she wanted her picture taken that day too, so her she is.

when the kids walked in the house with their boxes completely ripped and ruined, I LOST IT. i had wanted to take "THE VDAY PICTURE AND THEY RUINED IT". brenton was like "whatever...here is my box"

kylee promptly went to her room...pouted...yelled at me...and got mad at me for taking this picture. guess what...I DON'T CARE. MY BELATED VDAY GIFT TO ALL OF YOU...KYLEE FREAKING OUT ON HER BED!

day 7 of hell

it started last friday with Brenton puking all over the bathroom to this morning Tessa doing it again in the kitchen sink (we thought we were in the clear). i am on the verge of a mental breakdown...for real. i am so sick of all this DEVIN (inside joke).

POST EDIT: my husband just informed me that i got it wrong. it is DEVLYN OR DEVLIN. to be honest, i don't give a devlin.

my excuse

i have an extremely sick child right now, so i am excusing myself from doing a post today. in fact, look at the face above this. that is what she looks like, except the water has left her eyes. dehydration.

i could have cared less who won the superbowl. in fact, i think i watched a whole 15 minutes of it + the halftime show. i like the Black Eyed Peas...SUE ME! but, i will say this, these were my two favorite commercials.

a list

1. my lower back is jacked up. i think i slept funky and jacked it up. it is all jacked up. how many times can i say jacked up?

2. the administrative office of courts never returned my call. thank you for living up to my expectations of what your standards are.

3. i like being my "sarcastic" self around my family but, don't dare to do it around anyone else. i tend to offend. we are having a party with walt's friends tonight and he says to be myself. who will i end up offending?

4. the only way to see a scary movie is to see it with molly. at one point i scared her by leaning over to take a drink of my coke! total entertainment package...never leave without her!

5. still working on kylee letting me show the video. one day i will break her down.

what the hell?

i just received THIS PIECE OF CRAP in the mail today. i just went through this. i am so annoyed i don't know what to say. i am speechless right now. just be glad you weren't standing next to me as i was processing the fact that this was happening yet again. Nicole got a glimpse of it as she was leaving my house...with baby stuff...that she is NOT allowed to return back to me.
