we are all still loved

here it is. are you ready for it? i am going there. just so you know.

we heard a talk in church on Father's Day about how dad's are put down in the media and life. dad's are always portrayed as the doofus of the family. ok, i can respect that. i love my dad. he is a great dad. my husband, i love him. he is a great dad. but, come on, are they not the doofus? i will say it. my dad is a doofus. i love him, but he is kinda a doofus. it's like the joke that Bill Cosby does, where he is stuck with the kids at the store and is saying, "WHERE IS YOUR MOTHER?". isn't that always the question? WHERE IS YOUR MOTHER? well this got me to thinking...men get put down this way, so which way do women get put down? i came up with it later that night. and it had nothing to do with the fact that i was "going through the joke right at that moment". well maybe it did. women always get teased when IT IS THAT TIME OF THE MONTH, or just before that time PMS! come on guys, you know you all say it to your girls. "IS IT THAT TIME OF THE MONTH?". my husband now just says "marci what day are you on?". yep, he knows what days marci goes PMS KOOKOO! some of us can get a little scary or maybe alot scary.

so there you have it. men, you are gonna get teased for being a doofus cause women get teased for having PMS. CAN I GET AN AMEN!
